The “Farm Yard”

Spruce Environmental is a technology leader in radon mitigation and manufactures a line of testing equipment and inline ventilation fans to improve living and workplace environments. Before moving to its new location, the manufacturing facility was in the middle of a farm—thus, the inspiration for “The Farm Yard.” The idea was to merge the factory and corporate office to improve communication and coordination. Adjacent to the warehouse and corporate office, The Farm Yard serves as a relaxation and recreation space while providing employees a place for planned or impromptu time with others. A grab-and-go canteen, privacy booths, and a gaming area, enhanced with wall graphics, TVs, and artwork succeed in creating a warm and comfortable environment for all.
