Our long history with the Town of Webster and our intimate knowledge of and experience with their school buildings, educational philosophy, and school administration was key to being selected by the Town and MSBA in 2011 to conduct a Feasibility Study and Schematic Design for the Park Avenue School. Since the Middle School had been completed, the notion of a grade reconfiguration had surfaced as a key issue for the District. A series of options addressing the educational program, facility needs, and grade configurations was generated. In the preferred scenario, a new Park Avenue school has been constructed in phases on the existing site to accommodate grades PK-4. Minor alterations have been completed at the Middle School which will transition to a Grade 5-8 school and enable the Bartlett High School, currently housing grades 7-12, to become a 9-12 high school.
Our familiarity with the Town, its residents, demographics and economic status, the school system, stakeholders, parents and their proclivities was instrumental in preparing and conducting a campaign to help win voter support for the project, which was achieved by a remarkable 3 to 1 margin.
