Dore & Whittier designed and managed the 17,000sf gut/renovation of a c.1926 former cold storage warehouse and the adjacent c.1849 Greek Revival building originally housing the Merchant's Bank in the heart of Burlington's Historic Waterfront District at 212 Battery Street.
A sweeping reception area off the main east-west hallway leads to "the diner" with vintage booths and café tables, as well as full presentation equipment and videoconferencing capabilities. Offices on the 2nd floor surround a high-tech conference room featuring multiple projectors and on-demand privacy/projection glass. The 3rd floor studio space is the last stop before the roof deck and its breathtaking 360-degree view of Lake Champlain and the City's skyline.
The project was awarded LEED™ Gold certification.
