The Manchester Essex Regional School District awarded their latest project to Dore & Whittier Management Partners from among four finalists. DWMP will lead the MSBA-funded Feasibility Study & Schematic Design through mid to late 2018. Their MSBA SOI clearly conveyed the need to resolve multiple critical issues. The school cannot continue to provide a curriculum the children of Manchester-by-the-Sea deserve under the current space constraints, technological limitations, and safety and code compliance concerns. The lengths already taken to accommodate the current enrollment are commendable, but it’s time for a permanent solution and we will assist the District with navigating the MSBA process to develop and implement the most educationally appropriate and cost effective plan.
