Dore & Whittier worked closely with the Town to develop a strategic plan to consolidate its antiquated elementary school buildings from three to two schools to provide parity in both size and program requirements. The resulting project included renovations and additions to the Union Street and Elm Hill Elementary Schools to house 300 students each. Each school was designed to satisfy the same program requirements while adapting to their unique individual site features.
Both schools received the Efficiency Vermont Advanced Building Core Performance© Achievement.
