Vermont Military Department - Ethan Allen Firing Range
Jericho, Vermont

Set among pleasant surroundings within the range's 21,000 acres, the training school, barracks, and armory are the centerpieces of the Vermont National Guard's Military Academy and Infantry Armory. The range hosts visitors from around the world who come to train in harsh, winter conditions and mountainous terrain. The facilities were designed to meet stringent requirements of rugged construction, high security, and ease of maintenance while optimizing functionality and durability. The buildings include a two-story, 30,000 sq. ft. school with trainee barracks, a 10,000 sq. ft. high-security armory for use by the 3/172nd Mountain Battalion, and a 6,000 sq. ft. instructors' barracks.
