VT Fish & Wildlife - Ed Weed Fish Culture Station
Grand Isle, Vermont

Located on a 160-acre site on the shores of Lake Champlain, the Ed Weed Fish Culture Station is a key element in the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department's Cultured Fish Management Program. Many cold-water fish species are reared here, including landlocked Atlantic salmon, steelhead, and several types of trout. Dore & Whittier's design allowed the facility to fit carefully into a sensitive lakefront historic site with a fast delivery schedule and an extremely tight budget.
