Dedham Middle School // Dedham, Massachusetts

The result of a fully integrated high-performance design process led by Dore & Whittier, the Dedham Middle School is a highly energy efficient, 130,000 sq. ft. facility that saves the district more than $45,000 a year in energy costs. The school is a collection of inviting spaces that are designed to help students learn and, as a Certified Green School, was consciously designed to minimize the global footprint of its construction and long-term use.

Received the American Council of Engineering Companies' (ACEC) Gold Award for Professional Design Excellence and Certified as a Massachusetts Green School by the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and the Massachusetts Department of Education.
